Nokia Asha 306, 305 and 311 Features and Rate
Nokia has announced three new handsets in its Asha lineup of smartphones. All of these devices are touch screen based and they will be running on the S 40 OS. And of course all three of these handsets are mainly targeted for mid range to low end customers. Well, it is a great addition in the Asha family of handsets from Nokia that was originally introduced back in October last year. The new handsets are named as Asha 305, 306 and Asha 311. While announcing these mobilephones, Nokia has also made the statement that they are hoping to achieve their next billion customers with the help of these handsets.
305 & 306 Less Costly
Well, the Asha 305 and 306 are the less costly handsets among the three, and they will be coming with price tags of PKR 7000 and PKR 8000 respectively. It means that these handsets are really very affordable and they also attract much attention among the teens and the low end smartphone users.
Specs of Asha 305 & 306
Both 305 and 306 come with a 3 inch resistive display with WQVGA resolution. They also come with 1GHz processor under the hood, while you will also find 2MP cameras on the back of both handsets. Both handsets will be sporting GPRS/EDGE connectivity. There are only few differences among the two handsets; Asha 305 will be coming with Easy Swap dual SIM slot on the other hand, Asha 306 will feature WiFi connectivity as well. It means that Asha 306 will be Nokia’s cheapest touch screen WiFi handset until now.
When we talk about Asha 311, it is not that expensive either, as its price will be around PKR 10,500 (92 euros) . But Asha 311 will be coming with 3 inch capacitive touch display and it will also feature 3G connectivity. On the rear side, Asha 311 is loaded with a 3MP camera and you will be getting all the usual stuff including WiFi connectivity and microSD slot.
Nokia has also added 40 free gaming titles from EA games and you will be getting 15 levels of Angry Birds as well. Asha 305 the dual SIM handset will hit the markets by the end of this month while the other two will be arriving in the next quarter.
